# Transcribe Instagram Reels: From Link to Analyzed Script

Anyone who has tried to transcribe Instagram Reels by hand knows the scene. You saved a Reel that blew up in your niche, open it again, pause every sentence, type into a notes app and rewind three seconds because you missed a word.

Half an hour later, you have a paragraph with no punctuation. And you still don't know why that video grabbed people right away or how to bring the idea to your profile.

Running text mashes the hook, the turn and the close into one block. Splitting those parts apart is what teaches you something.

In Creathoria, you paste the Reel link into **Analyze and recreate**. The AI reads the video through the caption or the speech transcript and returns the script already split into hook, structure, format, tone and why it works. You get a breakdown of how the Reel was built, with no text file to download.

On your side, it takes three taps: pick the brand, open the menu and paste the link. Afterward, you can turn the analysis into a post of your own.

In Instagram, open the Reel, tap the share icon (or the three dots) and choose **Copy link**. It works with a reference Reel, a competitor's Reel or one from your own profile.

The same path works for TikTok and LinkedIn posts, which Creathoria also analyzes by link.

You can also do this in the mobile app (Android and iOS). Saved the Reel while waiting for your coffee? Paste the link right there and read the analysis before you head back to your desk.

A hypothetical example: a nutritionist opens the Reel with "You're eating salad the wrong way." The analysis could point out:

None of this depends on salad. A social media manager can use the same mechanism with "You're writing captions the wrong way" and three fixes.

To go deeper, read about [hooks for short videos](https://creathoria.com/articles/hooks-for-short-videos) and [script structures](https://creathoria.com/articles/video-script-structures).

With the analysis open, tap **Create post with AI** and choose what to do with the Reel: react, inform, counter, go deeper, apply to your niche, use the formula with another topic, recreate in the brand's voice or adapt for the brand.

Then pick the type of piece: short video (Reels, TikTok and Shorts in a single piece), carousel, stories, LinkedIn post and others.

The AI takes the mechanism and never copies the author's phrases, numbers or stories. The piece comes out in your brand's voice, based on the briefing and the **Post personality**.

If you're just starting, go with **use the formula with another topic**. That's the caption case from the example above: the hook and structure that worked stay, the topic is yours and the risk of sounding like a copy stays low.

Got a short video script? Record it with the **Teleprompter**, on the web version.

One Reel shows an isolated case. To see patterns, add the creator's @ under **Reference profiles** and choose how many posts to load and which ones to analyze.

The AI reads video, image and carousel slide by slide and builds the dossier with themes, hook patterns, structures, formats, tone, ranking and a summary of each post.

In the chat with the profile, you can ask about what was said in a specific Reel. The AI fetches the full transcript of the post when it needs to. The step by step is in [how to analyze a competitor's profile with AI](https://creathoria.com/articles/how-to-analyze-a-competitor-profile-with-ai).

You can:

You can't:

Besides being risky, re-recorded content looks like a copy, and people who follow the niche notice. That's why Create post with AI works with the mechanism and leaves the phrases, numbers and stories with whoever created them.

There's more on this in [how to research reference creators without copying anyone](https://creathoria.com/articles/how-to-research-reference-creators).

Yes. The Creathoria app (Android and iOS) analyzes a post from its link and lets you create a post with AI from it. Copy the link in Instagram and paste it into the app.

No. The analysis shows the hook, structure, format, tone and why the Reel works. Create post with AI uses the mechanism and never copies the author's phrases, numbers or stories. The piece comes out in your brand's voice.

Yes. Single-post analysis by link accepts Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

When the Reel belongs to a reference profile that has already been analyzed, the chat with that profile fetches the full transcript of the post when it needs to. For a standalone post, the focus is the script analysis.

Copy the link, paste it into Analyze and recreate and use Create post with AI to record your version. You can try it for 14 days on any plan, with a card on file and billing only at the end of the trial.
